Established in 2005, Virtu by Bacio Boutique, is a high fashion boutique. Specializing in the latest and hottest men's and women's clothing and accessories. At Virtu you will find unique and stylish clothing straight from exclusive designers and manufacturers as well as private designs, all inspired by the latest runway fashions.Our designers and buyers are all Fashion Institute of Merchandising graduates as well as top fashion connoisseurs.At Virtu we pride ourselves on being on top of all the blazing new fashion trends. Our goal is to bring our customers the most exquisite clothing at the most affordable prices, as everything in our boutique is always under $50.00.Our Owner's Story: While attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising as a "cash strapped" college student,Lauren Tammariello, decided to start selling clothes on eBay to make extra money. Starting with $100.00 she launched a ebay store in 2005. By the time she graduated she had expanded her business to local street fairs and her own online boutique . In 2007 ithe demand form her online and street fair customers for a brick and mortar store was encouraging. So with a small loan from her grandfather and with the many helping hands of her family she opened her first boutique on Grand Avenue in Escondido. Her little 600sqft store out grew itself in 2009 and she seized the opportunity to expand to a larger location, a block from the beach in Carlsbad,CA. This is where her story continues to grow, along with her business.

While recovering from a sever back injury, she discovered a craft that has allowed her to create beautifully colored soaps, with amazing designer inspired fragrances. These products are made from top of the line exotic butters and rich oils, that my body (and yours), deserves. From there she began making Creams, Lip Balms, Candles and more. As a company she has chosen to only use the highest quality ingredients, including phthalate free fragrances. Shea Chic's philosophy is; if she wouldn't use it, she doesnt expect you to.
